Wonder, Explore, Soar

Our theme this year is "Wonder, Explore, Soar!" We encourage you to ask your child about what they learned in class. Let your child teach you something from their school day. The best way to learn is to teach someone else.

Book Fair!

Our Williams book fair starts Friday, September 10 and will go through Friday, September 17. This will be a REAL book fair in our library, NOT an online fair. Children will visit the fair with their teachers. Tuesday, September 14, the book fair will be open to family from 3-5pm. Come shop around!

Meet Our New Librarian

Hello Mustangs!

My name is Mrs. Pagan, and this is my third year as a school librarian and my first year as an elementary librarian. I was a high school Spanish teacher for 10 years. I am from Monterrey, Mexico, and my husband is from Puerto Rico. We have a 14 year old son and a big dog named Jogi. This will be our 13th year in Houston. We love Houston and are planning to stay here for a long time!

I am extremely excited to be part of the Williams Elementary School family! This is going to be an amazing year. I look forward to meeting all of the amazing students this school has. I promise this will be a great year at the WES library. We will have a lot of fun!

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns throughout the year. Let's make this the best year ever.

Friendly Reminders

Transportation Changes

All transportation changes must be made by 2:45 pm every day so that we can ensure that your child's teacher receives the notification on time and that we can follow through with your request. No changes will be accepted after this time. All changes must be made by sending a note or calling the front office at (281) 356-6866. Changes can not be made through your child's teacher.

Early Student Pick Up

Early student check outs must be done by 3:00 pm.

Lunch With Your Child

Parents/Family members that each lunch with their child and bring younger children, must keep children with them at all times. Younger siblings must be seated next to parents on the stage in the cafeteria for safety reasons.

Drop off times

Doors on the Buddy Riley side of the building are open for regular drop off from 7:45 am until 8:25 am. Students dropped off after 8:25 am will need to enter through the front doors by the flag pole.
