Things to remember...
Please be sure to log reading time each night in the Fluency Folder. You do not have to return the folder until Thursday. Soon we will begin taking a weekly language arts grade on reading logs. I will let you know when this begins.
Homework is due Friday morning. There will usually be 2 pages of language arts and 2 pages of math; front and back. I will have it in your student's Communication Folder on Mondays. I'm sorry that I was a little late on the math pages this week! If you see other pages in the Communication Folder during the week, that means that your child was not able to finish them in class and should do so at home.
Please take a look at your child's Friday Folder each weekend and return the empty folder on Monday. All of the students are VERY excited to show their families what they have be working on!
We will be administering MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) testing this week on Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon. Please make sure that your student is here and ready to do their very best! We will use this information for future academic planning and organizing tutoring groups.
