Grade 8 Advanced Englsih Debates
We love it when we can bring in community members to help us out with our projects and events. This week Chisago County Sheriff, Brandon Thyen, and Deputy Sheriff, Justin Wood, came to CLMS to be a part of the judges' panel for the Advanced English formal debates.
These students did an incredible job showcasing their knowledge of the elements of an argument. It is a great opportunity to debate in front of an authentic audience.

The 8th Grade Semi-formal dance was a blast. A big thank you to Mrs. Gillespie for being the driving force behind this dance.
