Field Day Updates
Here is all the information for Field Day next Friday May 31st. We will have 12 outdoor stations in the morning from 9:30 to 12:00 and you will stay with your class for each of the rotations. From 12:00 to 12:45 will be lunch with your class, they will have sack lunches for everyone. From 12:45 to 3:45 will be the indoor stations. Each classroom teacher will drop off their students at the first station listed on the afternoon schedule and then pick them up at the last station listed on the schedule. Other teachers will be going around with your classes during the three indoor stations, so you will get your 45 minutes break. Non classroom teachers make sure to check the afternoon schedule so you know what classroom teachers you are covering for in the afternoon. Mrs. Wilson and I will be helping out with all of the morning outdoor stations, so let us know if you need anything during those stations. Mrs. Rigsby will be running the music during the morning stations. Let me know if you have any questions.

Kindergarten Summer School - Just to keep you in the loop
As you all know we have 2 classes of K summer school students beginning on June 4. We will be adding them to the Kindergarten and 1st grade specials rotation.
In order to do this, we will have Computer lab as a 4th class in the rotation for kindergarten opposed to adding students to already large specials classes. They will alternate between computer and library, but you will always drop them off at the computer lab door to keep it consistent. With that, Ms. Jones’ class will follow the K rotation schedule and Ms. Robinson’s class will follow the 1st grade specials rotation. Please work together to get this rotation set so it is an easy transition with the incoming K students begin. With that, these students will have a para that comes with them to help. This should help greatly!
Please let us know if you have any questions! Thanks in advance for your flexibility!
I have also attached the schedule for both K summer school classes.
Ms. Jones’ Class - Room 214
Lunch - 11:15 - 11:40 - Para stays with students at lunch
Recess - 11:40-12:10 - The two K paras will remain on duty along with one teacher. Please get a walkie.
Specials 1:15 - 2:00 - Para stays with students
Recess - 3:15-3:45 - The two K paras will remain on duty along with one SS K teacher. This will be combined with the regular K recess. We will continue to have a K teacher and the regular recess para, but we feel the extra supervision is needed!
Ms. Robinson’s Class - Room 116
Lunch - 11:15 - 11:40 - Para stays with student at lunch
Recess - 11:40-12:10 - The two K paras will remain on duty along with one SS K teacher
Specials 2:00 - 2:45 - Para stays with students
Recess - 3:15-3:45 - The two K paras will remain on duty along with one SS K teacher. This will be combined with the regular K recess. We will continue to have a K teacher and the regular recess para, but we feel the extra supervision is needed!
