League of Legends Closer happy after 100 Thieves handed ‘easiest group’ at Worlds, but one thing has him worried

Can “Closer” Çelik is certainly happy LCS runners-up 100 Thieves pulled what he believes is the “easiest group” in the 2022 World Championship main stage, but the Turkish jungler is already worrying about one big fear that comes with the easy road at League’s biggest tourney.

That fear: 100 Thieves could slide to last place in “easy” Group D.

There were minor celebrations in the 100 Thieves 메이저사이트 camp when North America’s second seed dodged terrifying groups like A—where LCS champs C9 will face T1 and EDG—and Group B, the team’s Turkish star told Travis Gafford.

But, almost as soon as the smiles faded, Closer started 토토사이트 thinking about what would happen to 100 Thieves and the LCS if they somehow failed to put on a good show.

“We are definitely happy,” Closer said. “We have the easiest group of all the groups [at Worlds], but… it will be very embarrassing if we lose. We could lose to the Flying Oysters,” the 100 Thieves star said.

There’s also the question of which League contender will join them in groups. All signs point to it being MSI champs Royal Never Give Up. RNG have been seeded into Group B in Play-Ins, and have to conqueror teams from Korea, Vietnam, Europe, Turkey, and Argentina to proceed. They’re odds on favorites to manage that 안전놀이터 and land in Group D in the main stage alongside 100 Thieves.

China and Korea are daunting, but Closer is only excited to begin.

“We have Gen.G [in the group] and potentially RNG, so I think it’s going to be very fun in the group,” he said, before pointing to Gen.G’s superstar mid laner Chovy as one star he’s looking forward to facing. “I want to see how good he really is.”

Even before the World Championship begins in earnest in Mexico City on Thursday, Sept. 29, Closer and 100 Thieves are already beginning the League grind.

Unlike in years past, most teams are foregoing a Korean bootcamp in September to journey to either the States or Mexico ahead of the big event. Several wildcard teams are already playing on high-level NA servers and LCK and LPL teams are expected to follow suit soon too. Closer is eager to test his mettle against them 메이저놀이터

“We are training… we will not go to Korea, but we’re working,” he said.

The hope, he added, is that every major star descends on the server in the next two weeks. Riot Games is opening Champions Queue for the League heavyweights, which should only lift the elite server for quality practice.

“If Faker ends up playing on Champions Queue, that will be really good,” he said. “Like FACEIT in CS:GO. It will be very cool if all Worlds pros end up playing there.”

Wild Rift patch 3.4 notes: Four new champions, 1v1 game mode, support overhaul

Wild Rift patch 3.4 is on the way — and Riot is pulling no punches with the upcoming content drop. Going live on September 15, there’s an abundant amount of content to allow players to experiment with the upcoming new meta. The most notable changes being the champion additions, new game mode, and support income 안전토토사이트 item implementation.

Gwen, Warwick, Vex, and Yone join throughout Wild Rift Patch 3.4, as in they’ll release on the secondary patches throughout as well. However across the patch there’ll be plenty in the way of new game modes, a Wild Pass, and plenty of balance changes.

Here’s what you need to know about Wild Rift patch 3.4.

Wild Rift Patch Notes 3.4

When is Wild Rift patch 3.4?

Wild Rift patch 3.4 is expected to go live on 토토사이트 September 15, 2022. However much like other cycles for the game, players can expect mini-updates across the following weeks and months.

What’s changing in Wild Rift patch 3.4?

Yone, Gwen, Warwick, and Vex officially revealed

New champions help develop the meta, effectively adding more variables to the ever-growing roster. Of course, the new additions come directly from League PC. But for those unfamiliar with these champions, here’s a brief summary of their kits.

Yone is Yasuo’s brother, and thereby plays rather similar to him. His first ability is essentially the same as Yasuo’s, but on the third hit he flings 안전놀이터 himself forward — throwing out a tornado as well. Then his second ability grants a fat shield, bigger for the more enemies hit. This makes life steal essential on him.

Instead of launching to an airborne enemy for his ultimate though, Yone knocks up all enemies in an area, dealing massive damage.

Gwen is a solo lane champion, who utilizes her scissors to slash down the enemy. She deals AP damage, and creates an area of effect where she becomes essentially immune to outside the area of effect. This makes the champion an excellent dualist.

Wild Rift Gwen

Warwick is a bruiser who loves to run into the enemy, especially low health targets. Walking towards weakened enemies increases his movement speed, allowing him to easily close the gap. He also has very mobile abilities alongside CC to help him get picks and sustain to survive skirmishes.

As for Vex, she’s a mid lane yordle who plays as a castor mage. Her biggest asset is easily her engage from her ultimate, where if she hits the area of effect skill shot, she can dash in and fear all nearby enemies.

According to Riot’s social media posts, they’ve set the release dates for every new champion to release in the patch. Gwen’s release date is on September 15, standing as the very first champion for the Wild Rift patch 3.4 cycle.

Then Yone releases on September 22, around a week after Gwen releases. Gwen releases on Wild Rift a solid month after on October 27, and Warwick on November 4.

Support item overhaul coming

Easily the biggest item update in Wild Rift Patch 3.4 is the addition of support items – which allow supports to gain extra gold through the laning phase. There’s one that allows executes minions, and shares gold and heals. The other deals extra damage to champions or structures, granting gold upon hit.

Essentially, they’re the same items taken from League PC. These new support items will help the role provide more direct impact on the game from early on.

Other item changes in this Wild Rift patch 3.4 notes include updates to some AP items, attempting to make mages feel more relevant in the meta.

New 1v1 ARAM game mode

The new Wild Rift game mode is a 1v1 ARAM, also known as “Duel Mode.” This is exactly as it sounds, where the game mode will allow players to 1v1 each other. But instead of picking their own champions and seeing who they’re against, they’ll be provided a random champion.

And since they cannot see their match up, it’ll definitely require some luck. Get ready for some intense fun!

To win the game mode, you must:

⦁ Kill enemy champion 2 times before the shrinking circle appears.⦁ Kill the enemy champion 1 time after the shrinking circle appears.⦁ Destroy the first enemy turret.

The game mode has all champions unlocked – thereby having little barriers of entry. Check out the official patch notes for more details.

Wild Rift Mastery System

To add onto the personalization options in Wild Rift, the developers are implementing an update to the Mastery system. This allows players to acquire mastery points for each role they play, rather than only the specific champions.

There are five different tiers (1 – 5).

Each tier will have a different color icon.

The score will be displayed on your profile page.

Hovering over it on your profile will also show your top three champions in that role.

For example if you hover over the Support role it will also show the three champions you have highest Mastery on in Support.

You’ll be able to share your role score to your teammates in your lobbies!

Ranked Season 7 will also start with a new skin reward: Glorious Crimson Draven.

ARAM Changes

The existing ARAM game flow is unchanged: you can use rerolls only in champion select.

The free re-rolls still recharge as they always have and you store up to two ARAM rerolls like always.

After you use up all your free rerolls, you’ll be offered the option to purchase extra rerolls with Poro Energy.

You cannot use more than 2 rerolls (including free and extra) per game, and you have to use the free ones first.

That means: If you entered the lobby with 2 free rerolls, you cannot purchase more for that game.

Extra purchases of rerolls are limited to 3 per day.

They reset each day.

The first reroll you will purchase will cost 50 Poro Energy, the second 100 Poro Energy, and the third 200 Poro Energy.

You cannot store-up extra rerolls.

Extra rerolls are just the same as free rerolls: rerolled champions are still pickable by allies.

League of Legends MMO head reveals how Champions will be implemented

The head of the upcoming League of Legends MMO revealed some new information regarding champion implementation in the game.

Riot’s new Runeterra-centered MMO is a big 토토사이트 mystery, with little information shown publicly. As of yet, there’s been no trailer or gameplay reveal for the League of Legends MMO.

However, the head of the game’s development team communicates very actively – sharing game progress alongside other insights. In a recent 안전놀이터 Twitter post, he began by discussing his personal role on the MMO team, then delved into the League of Legends’ champion implementation in the game.

While discussing his role on the team, Riot Greg ‘Ghostcrawler’ Street says “As the head of this MMO team, I don’t do a lot of actual ‘making things’ type work.

“One exception is that I do brainstorm and problem solve for creatures, especially things to fight.”

When stating this under the context of an MMO, the 메이저토토사이트 creatures likely refer to boss fights and mob fights. After all, these are staples of the genre.

But what would these look like for the League of Legends MMO?

League of Legends MMO Champions Implementation

A Twitter user asked Ghostcrawler “I’m wondering if dungeon bosses can/will be any champions we know of?”

Street replied, “We want to treat the champions with a lot of respect. I’m not saying you will never fight any of them, but we aren’t just going to turn to them anytime we are short on boss ideas.”

This means players will definitely have opportunities to fight against champions in the game – but they won’t be very frequent. In essence, players will likely face bosses which are either entirely new or taken from the card game: Legends of Runeterra.

And as many Legends of Runeterra players know, there are some big bad monsters stronger than champions never before seen in League of Legends.

And since the world of Runeterra is home to various sizes of champions – which aren’t properly scaled in League of Legends, players in the upcoming MMO will likely have a more accurate representation of how the fight would go – at least in regards to sizing 안전놀이터

Champions will likely be implemented as NPC as well – providing essential lore while pushing the story forward as well.
