The program is presented by Missy McClain from Akron Children’s Hospital and sponsored by the Pfeiffer Parents Assisting Teachers and Students (P.A.T.S). Light refreshments will be provided by P.A.T.S.

February Conferences are Live On-Line!!

Social Media Awareness Night April 8th!!!

The next parent night will be April 8th at 6:00 P.M. in the Pfeiffer gymnasium. We will once again be hosting Missy McLain from Akron Children's Hospital. Missy will be talking about the pressures of social media. Students feel such a need to be active in the social media world. The need for "likes" on-line does affect their self-esteem. Social Media has a way about presenting the best or worst in everyone. Save the date and join us!

Parent/Teacher Communication is key!!

Conferences are coming in February, but why wait if you have a question or concern. The first point of contact is always the teacher. If you have a question regarding the content or a student's behavior in the classroom, please contact the teacher by calling the Pfeiffer office and asking for the teacher or e-mailing the teacher directly. Research suggests that positive communication between parents and teachers will increase student achievement.

General Mills Box Tops Collection Contest

It’s time to start collecting! We will be collecting General Mills Box Tops to raise money for our 5th and 6th graders at Pfeiffer. The proceeds are used by the PATS parent organization to support the many different activities and programs throughout the year. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase playground balls, storage carts, games for use during inside recess, and lots more. For each box top collected our school will receive 10 cents. At the end of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 9 weeks the 5th and 6th grade homerooms that have collected the most will receive a special treat.
