Carnegie Chronicle
November 2021
Note from the Director
With active Covid-19 cases dwindling in Carroll County, the weather cooling off, and vaccines approved and freely available for everyone ages 5+, the Carnegie Library is reopening the annex meeting room for groups needing a space to gather or for people who require a quiet room to conduct virtual meetings. We are so pleased to be able to make this resource available to the community again and have installed an air purifier to help maintain healthy air quality in the room. Please help us spread the word to people who are looking for such a space! There is no cost to book the room, but an agreement form must be completed in advance by contacting the library.

Children's Holiday Party
We are excited to announce that your librarians are planning the annual holiday party for young children and their families! Mark your calendars for Friday, December 10 at 6pm for this magical celebration. We will be utilizing both the main library and library annex for our activities in order to allow folks to spread out more than we have in the past, with a series of fun activities including craft, game, and snack stations, followed by a reading of Jan Brett's picture book, The Hat. In keeping with the theme, all attendees are encouraged to wear a silly hat!
