Another Summer of Successful Summer Programs

The Eagle Foundation concluded a very busy and successful summer. The Buddy Program, the Reading and Math booster program and our summer enrichment camps are three of the programs that we offer over the summer to CV students and community. The Buddy Program and the Reading and Math booster program are offered at no cost to participants and continue to have an impact in the classroom and beyond. We offered 40 enrichment camps this year with some new additions including Total Fitness, International Cooking and Breakout. Thanks to all that participated and making the summer of 2018 a summer to remember!

Touch of the Valley - Save the Date - November 3rd!

It is time to kick off our plans for the 18th annual Touch of the Valley event – wild west style! The Eagle Foundation is throwing a Wild West shindig for the annual auction and tasting event. The event will be held on November 3, 2018 at CV High School beginning at 6:30 p.m. This community-loved event has raised $642,000 to support additional educational, cultural and activity programs for our students within the Cumberland Valley school district. Our goal this year is to add $41,000 more to the total!

Please consider donating an item to the auction to help us continue valuable student services. In return for your donation, your name will be included in our printed event program and your item will be displayed on the auction table. The donation can be a perfect introduction to your product or services.

The event’s purpose is to assist the CV community by giving volunteer organizations the opportunity to raise funds for their own organization while also generating funds to continue supporting the Eagle Foundation. Created in 1996, the Eagle Foundation supplements the academic, cultural, athletic and activity programs of the CV school district.

Sponsorship information and additional event details are available on the event page. We are also in need of additional volunteers to assist with the event. Contact the Foundation office to express your interest.
