Things to know!

Let's Talk about UIL!


  • UIL tryout sign ups will begin circulating soon.
  • Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events including (but not limited to): spelling, oral reading, chess, number sense and modern oratory
  • Students that are selected will stay after school to practice their event
  • On the day of competition they will travel to another school district to compete
  • This is a fun way to challenge your child. Encourage them to look for sign ups in the halls and to try out for a couple events.
