Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Whether we are in a season of trusting the Lord to discern which choice to make or what step to take next, He is always working and moving us towards His greater plan for our lives. The beautiful part is that the Lord does not just make decisions for us, He invites us in to have choices. This is still challenging for us.

Here's where we have to trust. We must let the unknowns draw us to listen to God. The question marks and confusion in life put us on a quest to know Him more.

Seek him in your decisions. Trust Him to guide your choices.

Mr. Evan Hucek - Fourth Grade Teacher

Big picture

"I'm so excited to join the Holy Cross community as your new 4th grade teacher! Growing up, I always looked up to my aunts and uncles who were in the teaching profession. It was as a fourth and fifth grader that I truly developed a passion for learning and school, thinking for the first time: "I want to be a teacher someday."

I am a St. Norbert College alumni, having completed my studies in Education while majoring in History. I couldn't be more excited to return to the classroom after working outside of it in recent years! This year's fourth graders can expect to grow academically, socially and spiritually- all while having a ton of fun!

My wife and I are the proud parents of four children, ages 10, 8, 6, and 4. I speak both Spanish and Portuguese, and when I'm not spending my free time with my family, I enjoy going to the YMCA, reading and watching shows about history, and working on my family tree."
