  • Involves two sides
  • Most advanced body plan
  • Highly specialized organs
  • Examples would be mollusk, cordite, arthropoda, annelida, and nematoda

Asymmetry

  • Without symmetry of body organs
  • Simple body plan
  • Grow according to the environment
  • Examples are coral

Radial

  • Circular pattern
  • Body radiates from center point
  • Provides protection and resources all around the body
  • Examples are cindaria and echinodermata

Anterior, Posterior, Ventral, Dorsal, & Lateral

Posterior/Dorsal - Back
