Meals will not be free for students this year. You can apply for free/reduced meals by completing the information annually.
Breakfast will only be served from 7:45 am - 7:55 am. Students will remain in the cafeteria until they are dismissed at 8:05 am. Students should not arrive earlier than 7:45 am. If a student is in the cafeteria, they are expected to be eating the school-provided meal.

The fastest and most convenient way to apply for Free and Reduced-price meals is online. You may also obtain a Free and Reduced-price meal application at the Nutrition Services Office or from your children's school cafeteria manager. If you believe that your student is eligible to receive their breakfast and lunches free or at a reduced price, please carefully read the instructions and complete an online or paper application annually.
Middle School Meet and Greet
Wednesday night 8/17 we will be holding the Middle School Meet and Greet (like Back to School Night). This will be an open house format where you can come and go throughout the evening. This is not a conference, but the teachers will be here to share with you about the year ahead, give handouts, and answer quick questions. We will also have information in the cafeteria about how to sign into Infinite Campus, access volunteer opportunities, and order your yearbook (and more). We will also have staff on hand to help you buy Bromley patches, pay fees, and drop off medications. Finally, we will have a tasty treat here for you to enjoy on your way out.
Pastries with the Principals:
Don't forget to bring your ID and check in at the front office before heading to the Cafeteria.
PTO Updates:

Safety & Security Protocols:
One of our primary focuses as a school is to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please ensure you have a physical valid ID each time you visit. Additionally, all visitors who are scheduled to assist in other parts of the building must complete a Raptor screen if going beyond the main office when students are in session. Visitors need to wear their Raptor badge for the duration of their visit and check out with the front office before leaving the building.
Safety Drills
Bromley ensures we are up to date with practicing for emergency situations. Along with 27J, Bromley utilizes the I Luv U Guys Standard Response Protocols. We will be engaging in monthly evacuation drills starting in August. More information regarding safety and security can be found on 27Js website.
Technology:
6-8 grade students will be issued a device and power cord the first week of school. They are expected to bring their devices home daily and then return to school with them fully charged.
3-5 grade students will also be assigned a device the first week of school. These devices will remain in the building but can also be sent home at the discretion of the teachers.
K-2 students will begin to receive their devices during the second full week of school. These devices will remain in the school at all times.
All devices are issued with a case that needs to remain on the device at all times. BECS has an accidental damage insurance policy for all the devices. Intentional damage to a device or power cord is not covered under the insurance and students will be responsible for all damage fees.
Traffic Update:
Due to staffing shortages, crosswalk guards will no longer be located at the intersection of Longspur Dr and Goshawk St. Please plan accordingly.
