Fun Day Volunteers
Our Fun Day is on the last day of school, May 30th. We are looking for volunteers to help set up and clean up the stations for the event. Please sign up below if you are interested.
We would like for each student to have a parent with them for the event. There is no need to sign up for that. You will get more details from your child's teacher.
Preschool Graduation - May 29th
Thompson and Settles - 4:00 p.m.
Smallwood and Korfhagen - 4:30 p.m.
Moreira and Booth - 5:00 p.m.
Please report to your child's teacher's room before and after graduation. You will be dismissed from the classroom to get a seat in the gym. After the ceremony, please assist your child to go back to the classroom. There will be light refreshments in the classroom.
If your child rides the bus, they will most likely not have enough time to ride the bus and get back to school. Therefore, you may need to pick up your child at dismissal (3:35 p.m.).

Board to Discuss Next Steps
We would like to thank all of our parents, staff, alumni, community members, and businesses who supported our bond issue. On behalf of the Board of Education, administrative team, and staff, we truly appreciate your continued support and commitment to Milford Schools.
With the failure of our bond issue on Tuesday, the Milford Board of Education will be discussing what happens next to address our pressing facility needs. These facilities are a key part of our Master Facilities Plan which was first written in 2000 when the district entered a partnership with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). While the OFCC was a partner in building our six elementary schools and high school construction projects, the State had informed the district that construction funds will not be available in the foreseeable future.
“We put our best plan forward and now have some tough discussions and decisions ahead. These facilities need to be replaced and to continue delaying these projects will be more costly in the long run,” said Board President, George Lucas.
