Lincoln Tech Updates

Last week's newsletter provided information on PARCC practice and schedules.

PARCC practice links, as well as updated ELA/math online tools videos, are located on Lincoln's website at Student Start > Tech Help > PARCC. A "PARCC Resources" shortcut is also at the top of the Student Start page.

If you would like my assistance with PARCC practice in your classroom, please let me know!

Google It!

For the next several week, I will be sharing Google Tutorial videos made by Richard Byrne, creator of freetech4teachers.com.

This week, the focus is on Google advanced search. Don't just "Google it!" Tell Google exactly what you're looking for to find better results. Google advanced search can filter results by reading level, by domain suffix, by file type, and more!

Three Advanced Search Tools for Students

Poster My Wall

Tricia P. from Westbrook shared a great website for making posters. You can search for poster templates and then edit them for your event or your classroom. Take a look!
