Vision: Academic Excellence and Success
From Mr. R's Desk
Huge shout-out to everyone, especially our EOC teachers and students, on our recent STAAR scores. The academic growth has been noteworthy and that can only be attributed to you, the teachers. So, thank you!
This truly has been a great school year. I am very grateful and blessed to be here at Rio Hondo High School. As we look forward to 2019-2020, I am very confident and positive that we will surpass this year’s achievements. Remember, the GOAL is always to get better. We know where we stand and no one knows our strengths and weaknesses better than ourselves. There is no doubt that RHHS will achieve great things in the years to come. The standard has been set and now we know what we can accomplish. Let’s push the envelope and let’s make it happen.
Reflective questions of the week...
- What evidence do I have that makes this school year a success?
- In my classroom, which instructional strategy had the biggest impact on student success?
- Based on data, which of my lessons do I need to refine for next school year?
