Student Drop-off in the Mornings
Stoller Families,
All families arriving at school by car should drop off students using our Laidlaw Road front entrance, not the back parking lot off of Skycrest (by Jacob Wismer). This is our only entrance for visitors. Please do not use the back parking lot. The Skycrest entrance is reserved for bus traffic.
High School Forecasting
Sunset and Westiview visited Stoller yesterday to kick off the forecasting process for the 9th grade year of high school! Students have been given forecasting forms to prepare for online forecasting that will take place on Monday, February 26th.

If you child is attending Westview, please review the Complete Westview Forecasting Guide as you and your child fill out his or her forecasting sheet. We encourage all parents to attend Westview’s Curriculum Night on Wednesday, February 21st at 6:30pm.

MathCounts - Math Video Challenge
MathCounts is a nationally recognized math contest in which teams of four students compete by directly engaging in high level math problems or by what is called the “Math Video Challenge”. In the Math Video Challenge, students work together to create a video that explains the solution to a MathCounts handbook problem while demonstrating a real-world application of the mathematics concept explored in the problem.
This year Stoller has three teams competing. Their team names and names of their videos are:
- Stoller Wizards- ESCAPE!
- Stoller Jags- POTIONS, POISONS AND RICHES
- Dream Team 1- Gotta Solve Em All
You can view all the videos at http://videochallenge.mathcounts.org/.
When you get to the site, search for the name of the video. YOU CAN HELP THE TEAMS OUT BY VOTING FOR EACH OF THEM! PLEASE AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Norse via email.

Middle School Science Expo
Looking for Judges
We have many excellent science and engineering projects that are being completed by our brightest middle school students and we need your help in reviewing them at our Beaverton School District Middle School Science Expo.
Information about our Science Expo follows:
- Date: Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 8:00am - 4:00pm - Continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
- Location: Highland Park Middle School, located at 7000 SW Wilson Ave. Beaverton, OR 97008.
- Competition Format: Seminar style where students present their projects one at a time to their category group and to the judges.
Schools need expert help in deciding which projects should move on to the state fair competition, the Northwest Science Expo (NWSE). One-third of competing students will go on to compete at NWSE. We want to give our students an opportunity to share their outstanding efforts with people who can provide constructive feedback on their projects regarding science and engineering research practices.
If you can help, please complete our short registration form and if you are interested in learning more about our fair, review the judge's information letter.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to engage with our brightest young students.
