Homecoming Theme: STARS AT NIGHT ARE BIG AND BRIGHT

Each grade or club chooses an appropriate theme to represent their club or organization.


Student groups are encouraged to think cowboys, home on the range, camping, river, adventures, movie stars, space and galaxy, patriotic, Friday Night Lights, or any and all things Texas.

2. Tuesday, Volleyball vs. NB Canyon 5/6/7

3. Wednesday, Hall Decorating begins after school. Judging is held at 7:00 PM.

4. Thursday, Freshman FB vs. Pieper 5:30; JV FB @ Pieper; Homecoming Parade starts @ 6:00 & Pep Rally to follow

5. Friday, Varsity FB vs. Pieper (Homecoming Ceremony 6:00 PM); Regular Bell Schedule; VB Home vs. Wagner 5:15 Varsity/6:30 JV & F

6. Saturday, Homecoming Dance 7PM-10PM @ Tivy HS

Homecoming Dress Up Themes

Costumes should follow dress code guidelines and be appropriate for the day's theme. We will extend some grace for headwear that follows the theme. Please see an administrator with any questions.


New this year: Each dress up day is coupled with a class competition to collect food and toiletry items to stock our own campus store. Students who wish to bring the item for the school day will deliver the item to the class sponsor. Class sponsor room numbers will be announced to students.


Tivy Student Council is creating a clothes/food/toiletry closet on campus to serve our students. We look forward to the success of this new initiative.

Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally

Thursday, Oct. 5th, 5:30-8pm

Water Street

Kerrville, TX

Details for the parade & pep rally:


1. Parade line-up begins at 5:30 PM on Hugo Street at 5 points and begins at 6:00. Parade floats will be in marked number area. Parade cars will be in the parking lot on Hugo Street.

2. Parade route will be down Water Street to the Star at Earl Garrett Street.

3. Pep Rally will be held at parade end in parking lot at Earl Garrett dead end.


We hope to see everyone there.

Homecoming Football Game & Ceremony

Friday, Oct. 6th, 6pm

Tivy Antler Stadium

The pre-game ceremony for Homecoming Sweethearts and Court will begin at approximately 6:00 PM. Student participants will receive additional information for reporting times.


Football game will begin at 7 PM.

Homecoming Dance Sponsored by Student Council

Saturday, Oct. 7th, 7-10pm

Kerrville, TX

Student Council will be hosting a Homecoming dance at the Tivy High School Cafeteria! We would love to make a dance part of our Homecoming traditions.


Students will be treated to snacks, music, and dancing. Photo backdrop will be available. Cost per student is $5. Tickets will be sold during lunches next week and will be sold at the door.


Students bringing dates from other schools must pick up a Homecoming Dance Guest Form from Mrs. Graham in the front office. Guests must be attending another public high school or private school/homeschool. This will be verified and required for attendance.


Students will park or be dropped off in the teacher parking lot and enter at staff entrance. Students will not be permitted reentry if they leave the dance.


We look forward to hosting a fun time for our students. Help support this project by attending the dance.
