Mrs. Lynda Smith

Mrs. Lynda Smith & Geoboard

Lynda allowed students to use personal devices to access Geoboard. Some downloaded the app while others accessed it through a browser. It's free either way! They solved real-world and mathematical problems involving area, surface area, and volume.

Pi Day with Mrs. Morgan

Big image
Pam connected her students with children from across the United States and around the world! They celebrated Pi Day by measuring round objects and calculating the ratio of the the circumference to the diameter. They added their calculations to a spreadsheet shared with children from California, Rhode Island, Hungary, India and more!

The Pi Day resources include a link to Zaption.

Make any video interactive by adding images, text, and questions. You will also have access to analytics. Give it a try!

I highly recommend the SAMR Model Prezi below. The examples are great! The video at the end is the SAMR Model explained by Dr. Ruben R. Puentedura, who defined these levels of technology integration. How are you transforming education through technology? Please share!

PicCollage for AVID

PicCollages are coming along! Thank you for helping us meet our AVID objectives.

Are you having trouble adding yours to Google Drive? Your first step should always be to add it to your photos. Once you have it there, it's much easier to upload to the shared Google folder. Let me know if I can help.

If you need help making one, be sure to ask me (or anybody who has created one.) You'll be surprised at how easy it really is!
