In Case You Missed It:
I do not know what we would do without the teamwork we have at SanLee! All those hired to drive a school bus are currently assigned to a daily route. Jamie reached out to all the schools in our district and Robert Newby, Assistant Principal at Lee County High School and former math teacher at SanLee, worked to help us fill in some of the dates needing subs using their sub drivers. We also had Tommy Harrington, H/PE teacher, and Kimberly Morrill, CTE/Career Expl. teacher, drive for us last week. Jamie and Heather Hughes, H/PE teacher, are going to do the class portion of the bus course October 15-17. #Whateverittakes! *We still need someone to drive bus 20 on Monday afternoon and bus 72 on Oct 17th.
Did you see the cool footage on the announcements from the football game on Wednesday? Vincent Pienaar used his drone to get that for us. Thank you for going above and beyond for us, Vincent!
The first due date for SafeSchools modules online is Nov 2 for LCS. This should be completed by 6pm on Tuesday, October 30 for SanLee Middle School staff.
Open Enrollment for NC State Health Plan is going on now through October 31.We have all received several emails about this. EVERYONE is placed on the 70/30 plan with the highest premium unless you go on and make changes. I just did this for me and my family, and it took less than 5 minutes. I recommend you do this now, so you do not risk life getting in the way later...
