Welcome to SLA-MS 5th Grade Families & Welcome Back to All Families!
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged, and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). Our enthusiastic office team is registering new families, ordering needed materials, and updating student files. We are indeed a joyous and caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, devoted students, and promoting high-level learning.

BackPack Give Away! from Noon-4 at The Science Center 36th and Ludlow. Masks needed to pick up backpacks with school supplies and earphones.

For Quick Help @ SLA- MS this school year you can chat online with SLA-MS staff by downloading google chat, you can find Ms. S at shneal@philasd.org, Mr. Boyle at tmboyle@philasd.org, or Ms. Sharlean at spillay@philasd.org. We will be able to answer questions about finding your online classrooms and help with understanding projects
After School @ SLA-MS:
Technology Support Hub
Starting the week of August 17, three Technology Support Centers will be open 5 days/week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for families to obtain new Chromebooks or get help with theirs.
