Curriculum Update

Dr. Schweirjohn is working with grade level chairs to get curriculum updated to share with teachers. A google document will be shared with teachers to view current curriculum. Your patience and understanding is appreciated during this transitional time. Dr. Schweirjohn and Mr. Quanz (Elementary Curriculum Coordinator) are working hard to get these documents to our teachers.

What do we share with parents at Open House? Mrs. Armstrong will have documents printed and ready for teachers to hand out that evening.

Technology Update

Technology was in our building Friday removing lease machines and preparing for the removal of the computer tables. Students in grades 3-5 will be one to one due to the support of the Technology Dept.'s 1:1 plan of adding 5th grade this year. Zitzman and PTO purchased grade level Chrome Carts for grades 3-5 which will allow our building to be close to 1:1 in grades 3 and 4 this year. Mrs. Carrico will be working with classroom teachers to assign Chromebooks to students and classrooms.

Each teacher in grades 3-5 will have 1 PC for the teacher to use and connect with the Smart Board.

Mr. Mark Welty (custodian) is goint to help hook up teacher computers to support the Tech. Dept.
