In With The New...

SkillSet Organizing Winter 2016 eNewsletter

What's New With Me, AND You?

I think I'm more ready for 2016 than I have been for any other year since I started SkillSet. 2015 offered a lot of learning and growing opportunities for me, and a little planned downtime over the holidays gave me a chance to reflect and focus on the best ways to improve my services, and bring the healing effects of organizing and productivity to clients. Some of the opportunities and offerings I've been working on include:

  • A video series to begin later this month
  • More flexible scheduling options for clients (morning, afternoon, or all day)
  • A new Personalized Productivity Workshop for businesses and teams
  • LOTS of speaking, presentations, and webinars - many listed below, and several more in the works, so stay tuned!

So what kinds of goals and projects have you got coming up in this bright new year, and how can I assist? Give me a shout, and let me know how I can help you thrive in your distracting world!

Things People Pitch

What do I see the most when folks are purging? In no particular order, here are a few things you could probably let go of too:

  1. Back issues of Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, Runner's World, People...(and no, your extensive collection of National Geographic is probably NOT valuable).
  2. T-shirts.
  3. With apologies to my colleagues who write them...books about organizing. :-o
  4. Kitchen tools with slightly burned/melted handles.
  5. Hotel shampoos and soaps (donate unopened ones to a local homeless shelter).
  6. Extra pairs of sunglasses, eyeglasses, or reading glasses (donate to a local Lion's Club Eyeglasses Recycling Program).
  7. Last, but certainly not least...Beanie Babies.
