Fall NWEA Testing Window
Prior to testing, please confirm that computers being utilized for NWEA testing have the lock-down browser and are fully charged. Please launch the browser to ensure that the student log-in page appears. If this does not occur, please contact the HELP (ext. 4357) desk.
The fall NWEA assessment window opens on Monday, September 9 until Friday, October 4 for Grades 4 through 12 in reading and Grade K through 12 in math and science. Grade K through 3 reading window opens on Monday, September 30 until Tuesday, October 15.
Students in grades K-2 will need one 50-minute period for reading and another 50-minute period for mathematics. Students in grades 3 – 12 will need three 60-minute periods to complete the reading, mathematics and science assessments. Testing can be done in a lab, small group, or classroom setting as determined by the needs of the individual building. Through collaboration with your teachers, a testing schedule should be created.
A reference document has been created to assist teachers with the assigning of tests. Support documents are in the Curriculum “Common” folder under NWEA. There are multiple documents to assist in assigning appropriate tests, setting up test sessions, proctoring tips, and reporting resources. It is highly recommended that teachers review these support documents prior to administering the assessment.
