St. John Nepomuk Catholic School
Mission Statement
Dear Saint John Parents & Students,
I am sad to announce the departure of Ms. Mary Hanska as our Pre-K 4 Classroom Assistant and Aftercare Supervisor. Although she will be missed, we wish her the best in her new endeavors.
Although this resignation was unexpected, I am committed to providing our Pre-K 4 classroom with a qualified individual to assist the classroom teacher. This will take some time, so I ask for your patience and prayers as this process begins.
While there is always a transition that takes place in the going and coming of a new staff member after the start of the year, I am grateful for the support of our school staff for the extra help and support they are giving during this time.
Thank you again for your cooperation and support.
In Christ,
Natalie Johnson

It's Almost Book Fair Time!
Dear Parents and Families:
Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Here’s what you can do to help children develop stronger reading skills and a love
for reading:
- Set the example. Let children see you read.
- Have a collection of books in your home. Update this collection routinely to keep up with changing tastes and reading skills.
- Support our school’s Book Fair. Allow your children to choose their own books to read.
Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.
Book Fair dates: December 7-15
Shopping hours: Each day after school until 4:00 pm
Special activities: We will be open after the Christmas Program!
If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our online Book Fair at scholastic.com/fair. Our Online Fair is available from December 5 to December 11.
We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair! Remember, all purchases benefit our school.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Natalie Johnson
