Brainstorming with 5 W's
When you go to write a story the best way to start is to organize your ideas when you are brainstorming. So when you start brainstorming you need to write down the 5 W's who is involved, what happened, where was it, when it happened, and why it happened.Once you have done that fill them out and begin your paper.
Also remember when you writing a story to add in sensory language it is important to use. The reason why it is important to use Sensory language because it gives the reader a better understanding and visual description of the story.
mood is also an important part of a story because it makes the story more interesting and developed.
When you get to the point when you are ready to write the story you want to grab the readers attention. The way you do that is by adding a hook statement, it is a sentence that grabs the readers attention and makes them want to read more.
Plot development is an important structure to use when writing a story. The reason why is because it helps the story evolve. When you use plot development you nee exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
When you use character development you have to make it noticeable. For example say a character starts out shy and has stage fright but by the end she is a famous singer. But don't change it too quickly like shes one way at the beginning and the next day she changes like that.
The setting is where the story happens also when the story happens. So for example Dec.12, 2015 at the Alvarado Jr high. That would be the setting of a story or some writing.
An outline is also another way to organize your brainstorming. What you do is you need to come up with a hook statement. Then you need to write a sentence on what the paragraph is about and write what the action is. After that write down the series of event in the paragraph.
