ASVAB Career Exploration Program
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a comprehensive career planning program that includes a multiple-aptitude test battery, an interest inventory and various career planning tools designed to help students explore different career related opportunities. The test can help students by measuring aptitudes that are related to success in different jobs as well as training and education programs. After taking the ASVAB, students will receive a summary of their scores as well as an explanation of what their scores mean. They will then be able to access the online program to explore over 400 occupations and learn how their academic strengths and skills relate to the occupations that are of the most interest to them. This test was developed, and is used by, the U.S. Military. Although the ASVAB will be administered at LHS by a representative from Fort Dix, participation in the test and program does not necessarily indicate interest in the military. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, permission slips can be found in Guidance and must be returned no later than Tuesday January 14th. For more information on the ASVAB you can go to: www.official-ASVAB.com
