CTJ Legacies & NDA Nationals Results
The Johnson Legacies recently competed at NDA Virtual Nationals. They placed 2nd in Large Varsity Game Day, along with receiving the “Go Be Great” award for a 2nd time in a row! This award was given to 3 schools out of all in-person and virtual contestants. Even though dancing is what the girls do 90% of the time, they were given a chance to be recognized for their leadership qualities throughout the school and community.
The highlight of the competition occurred when they competed in the Large Varsity Hip Hop division (first time in Johnson Dance history to compete in this division) and were announced National Champions with a score of a 91.06.
This is the second Varsity Nationals title for Johnson Dance, with the first one being awarded in 2020. The competitive Nationals group is comprised of twenty-five dancers. The winning group of young women includes eleven seniors and fourteen juniors.
We are beyond grateful of the amazing support from our families, friends, Johnson Spirit members, administration, community, & alumni. Our hearts are full and we are once again honored to call ourselves, Johnson Jaguars!
