Career Day Volunteers

Robinson Middle School is planning their annual Career Day for Friday, March 4th. We are looking for parents and other members of the community who would like to come to school and talk about their careers. The purpose of this program is to give our students a better idea of the world of work as well as an understanding of some of the different choices that will be available to them as they plan for their future.

Volunteers are needed for eighth grade. We welcome your participation for an hour or half day. Our school day begins at 8:30 and we are ending our career day at noon. Each class period is approximately 47 minutes; however, you can present for 20-35 minutes and allow the remainder of the period for questions. Before your presentation, please try to arrive at Robinson thirty minutes early for a leisurely check into the school.

Please complete attached form and return or email the bottom portion to Mike Rubin, 8th Grade Counselor, 469-752-6217 or mike.rubin@pisd.edu. He will contact you to schedule the times for your presentation. Thank you for considering.
