gilded age

the gilded age in the united states history is the late 19th century, from the 1870s to about 1900. The term was brought up by writer mark twain. A tale of today(1873), which started an era of serious social problems. i am a shamed because these people were making low wages but also having to pay high rent so all the money was basically returning to the guy paying it out.
