The Nicene Creed and Apostles Creed have belief statements. They use we believe and I believe. It gives us a common basis to believe in. It sets up a community of believers. They have very meaningful belief statements.

It summarises me (Mr Mason) as a christian. I conduct myself according to my belief. The things and people around you may change but your beliefs don't. The creeds give you something to refer back to.
What does the Creed mean to Me?
It means a summary of different prayers and beliefs all into one page. It means to me that I can read the Creed and get all of the beliefs that other people and me believe in. It makes me feel like I have a sense of community because of all the people that believe in this belief, believe in this creed, it makes me feel like I am a part of something huge.
