Notes from Nurse Linda
So far this year our kids have been fairly healthy. We have only seen bumps, scrapes, a few cases of strep, and a handful of stomach virus cases. However, flu season is soon upon us. Please have your children immunized against the flu. You can get the shot at your pediatrician, the Health Department or CVS and Walgreens. My hope is that this will help prevent your family from experiencing the perils of the flu.
Hydrate! Drinking water energizes your muscles, keeps your kidneys healthy, prevents constipation, and holds those wrinkles at bay.
Shelf Talk...News from the Library
The Book Fair ran October 1-5, 2018 and was a huge success! Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make it happen!
Little Dolphins met in the auditorium on Wednesday, October 3rd for stories, finger dancing, and making a unicorn hat! Then, we visited the Book Fair. Our next Little Dolphins Story Time and Craft is November 7th in the Library! Bring your little ones and read with us!
