April, 2023
Principal's Message
Hello Knights,
As we dive into the last quarter of the 2022-2023 school year, we have a ton of information to share. The months of April and May will be very busy as we finish the year strong and get ready for the 2023-2024 school year. April will start state testing and continue weekly through May. Read the schedule carefully and make arrangements for transportation to and from testing in advance. If challenges arise, contact the iFlagler office so we can try to overcome those barriers together.
Parents, be sure to review your child's/children's gradebooks weekly. We need your help at home to ensure students finish their courses on time and with passing grades. Teachers have begun issuing zeros for overdue assignments. Students can still complete those missing/late assignments for full credit. Teachers are giving the deadline of May 17th for all course work to be completed. This is purposeful to allow enough time for remediation, tutoring, and grade improvement if needed. Teachers need to issue all final grades by the last day of school, May 26th.
There are only 7 more Fridays before the end of the year. That means only 7 more opportunities to come to the iFVS campus to work with your teachers 1:1. We hope to see you all at Fortress Fridays for the remainder of the year. Don't forget to cash in your Class Dojo points at our school store. We have tons of goodies.
Educationally Yours,
Erin Quinn, Principal
Let's Get Ready for Spring Testing!
Testing season is upon us once again! Attached is a printable version of the iFlagler testing schedule.
Please make every effort for your Knight to be present for state testing. Remember that the goal of statewide assessments is to provide all stakeholders with data on academic achievement and learning gains. The more information we have about your student's progress, the better we can serve them in the future.
AND, WE WANT TO SEE OUR KNIGHTS!!!
