Month of the Military Child
Military Families Conference
On Saturday, April 1, 2023, all families with active duty and retired military members are invited to attend our annual Operation Military Families event. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Great Bridge High. See more information here.
MILITARY WALL OF HONOR
April is the MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD and to help us celebrate and honor all of our military students and their families, we have decided to have a MILITARY WALL OF HONOR.
You do not have to currently be in the military to participate in this activity. This is open to the entire school. Some students may want to bring pictures of their grandparents or siblings who have or who are serving in the military.
Faculty and staff, many of you may have served in the past, and some may still be in the Reserves today. Let us honor you.
We need pictures of your family members along with information about what branch of the service they were in and any stories you may have. If you are a child of a military member, try to get a picture of yourself with your parent in their uniform.
Please place your student's name on the back and turn the pictures in to your teachers or the Military Counselor. All pictures and information should be placed in the Military Counselor's mailbox no later than Wednesday, April 5th.
