Late Start Day - October 25th - 9:55 a.m.
On these days, homeroom starts one hour later, 9:55 a.m., than usual for students so that faculty and staff can participate in Professional Learning opportunities and work together to improve teaching skills and the academic performance of students. Buses continue to operate on the regular schedule during late start dates; however, parents also can choose to transport their child to school by the scheduled later start time (exactly one hour later than normal).
Students who arrive early will participate in supervised activities until the school day begins.
Capital Plan 2027
Over the next few weeks you will be hearing and seeing more information about Fulton County Schools’ next Capital Plan and the projects that will improve our school, Johns Creek Cluster Projects. On November 2, 2021, Fulton citizens will vote on whether to continue ESPLOST as the funding source for these projects. For those unfamiliar, ESPLOST is the one-penny education sales tax that has funded new school construction, additions and renovations, technology innovations, transportation upgrades and safety improvements in our school system.
ESPLOST has been our district’s preferred funding source for capital improvement projects for many years. Fulton County Schools has created a special webpage with information about Capital Plan 2027 and ESPLOST at www.fultonschools.org/ESPLOST. We encourage you to visit that page to view information about our school’s projects as well as general information about districtwide improvements.
