Boys Baseball
The Panther baseball team improved to 8 - 3, with a convincing 15 - 6 victory over Mt. Olive. Pitcher Michael Meade was outstanding on the mound, with Derek Inskeep having an excellent game behind the plate. Jack Gummersell, Matthew Sturgeon, and Sean Laucella led the offensive charge for the Panthers.
The Panther baseball team is dismissed today at 2:30 for their home County Tournament game against Central.
Girls Softball
The Girls softball team lost their game on Friday to Mt. Olive by the score of 12-3. Mt. Olive jumped on Long Valley early hitting the ball hard and putting runs on the board. Long Valley dug deep thought are refused to be shut out on their home field and put 3 runs on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning on big hits by Victoria Byank and Angelina Kinney. Playing well for the Panthers were Allie Cavezza, Merince Curita, and Josefina Kinney . The team finished the regular season with a 4 Win 6 loss record and now looks to see what they can do in the County Tournament. Their next game will be against Heritage, away on Wednesday in the opening round of the Counties.
There will be no practice Monday after school. The team will have practice on Tuesday.

Wednesday - Practice until 4:30
Thursday - Track meet at Mount Olive High School
