Sea Turtles
One of the endangered species
Why are they endangered?
Nearly all species of sea turtle are classified as Endangered. Slaughtered for their eggs, meat, skin and shells, sea turtles suffer from poaching and over-exploitation. They also face habitat destruction and accidental capture in fishing gear. Climate change has an impact on turtle nesting sites.
More information
Seven different species of sea turtles grace our ocean waters, from the shallow sea grass beds of the Indian Ocean, to the colorful reefs of the Coral Triangle, and even the sandy beaches of the Eastern Pacific. Human activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these ancient mariners. It alters sand temperatures, which then affects the gender of hatchlings.

Hear is where I found some information. This website will also show more endangered species.
A Helpful Idea
What I want to do to help save them is by beginning a fundraiser where when you pay a dollar, and you can wear a hat to schools one day during May. The more dollars you pay the more days you could wear a hat to school. Then at the end of the month all of the money would go towards making them a safe habitat to live in.
Accomplishment
Doing this will be a way to save the sea turtle population, and make it get jump started into an entire species. With your help the sea turtles could live happily instead of having to hide from trappers who want them for their body parts.
