Space Camp
-This is NOT an overnight trip.
-We will leave from the school at 8:15 am and return to the school every afternoon around 4 pm. If your child is a bus rider, they will need alternate arrangements to get home in the afternoon.
Graduation Ceremony
On Friday, the last day of the program, a graduation ceremony will be held at 1 pm. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. After the ceremony, families will be given a pass to stay and enjoy the rest of the day at the Space and Rocket Center. If you use the pass to stay with your child, you will need to find your child's homeroom teacher and sign him or her out after the ceremony. If you are unable to attend the ceremony, your child will be able to ride the bus back to school. We will return to the school by 2:30 pm Friday only.

In honor of March being National Reading Awareness Month, Challenger Elementary Student Council will be raising money for Pajama Program, a non-profit organization that provides warm sleepwear and new books for children in need. We will be hosting a loose change drive competition between the grade levels throughout the month of March. The grade level that raises the most money will win a pajama day for the entire grade level! Please check your pockets, in between couch cushions, and anywhere else you can think of for loose change to send to school with your child to raise money for this awesome organization! If you are interested in learning more about Pajama Program, you can visit their website: www.pajamaprogram.org.
