BASIC SKILLS
Strong artistic skill, be able to copy your ideas on to paper, painting, sculpting, sewing, carpentry, have the ability to graphic design, be able to see the broad picture of things, have teamwork with your team, and creativeness.
EDUCATION and ACTIVITYS
Most set designers have a degree in Art (painting and textiles), and usually take 3D design classes and or theater production classes at a high level.
In this job you will get to mentally design and physically build the sets for movies.

WORKING CONDITIONS and DEMANDS
You will work on the set of the movie/ TV show, you will work in a shop, in an office, or all. It might be air conditioned, depending on the company. You will also have to have the ability to lift and build sets, and be able to make the vision in your head/ paper and transport it in real life.
WORK HOURS
You will most likely stay at your office, home, or job site. It depends on the project you’re doing for the hours, it could be the average work day, or into the night or weekends if you need to finish a project.

The average annual wage is $46,723, In Texas the average annual wage is $46,302, The wage is $22 an hour in Texas.
It has been relatively the same, but should be increasing, and by 2018 should have roughly 4,500 more jobs than the year 2010.
