Success for all, whatever it takes!
Issue 26: February 15-19, 2016
Good morning, Westview! I hope that each of you took advantage of the 3-day weekend to rest and rejuvenate for the week ahead. Laura had to work (making up the Royal Blue Snow Day), so I had the house to myself.
I spent the day installing ceiling fans, organizing the tubs in the garage, emptying out boxes, and hanging a few things on the walls. We've been in the new house for a week, and it's finally starting to feel less overwhelming. I appreciate all of you asking how things are going, how Laura's first day back was, and how my family is adjusting. You all sure do know how to make a guy feel cared for. You are my second family, and you always make each day brighter.
While this is a short week, we have lots planned! The 8 Mathematical Practice training follow up meetings will alter your routines with your students, as will the short week, so plan ahead to prepare your students that struggle with these changes. As always, changes in routine and having subs in your classroom are a great opportunities/reasons to focus on procedures and expectations.
I look forward to learning along side you all this week, and can't wait to see what Westview has in store for the world!
Wishing you many blessings throughout the week.
