MHS Newsletter - May 6, 2022
Your news source for Mansfield High School
From the Principal's Desk...
Dear MHS Students and Families,
The most exciting month in the high school schedule is upon us! It is hard to believe this is the last newsletter before prom! While much of this month is dedicated to our wonderful class of 2022, it is certainly a time to celebrate the success of our entire community. Our students have shined both within these four walls and out in the community. Over the next six weeks, our students will be bearing down to finish the year out strong. I ask that you join our staff in supporting them during this very important and exciting time.
Earlier in the week, I sent an email out to all students to ask for their help in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses Appreciation Week and School Lunch Hero Day (today). In my message to the students, I encouraged them to reach out to thank any teacher, counselor, paraprofessional, hall monitor, office assistants, custodian, etc. who has had a positive impact on their lives. I would like to call on you to do the same. Think about that one person in your life who has had the ability to guide you and reach out to thank them. Working in schools is more challenging now than it has ever been and it means the world to them when they hear from former students.
Finally, I want to share a reminder that our 10th graders will be taking the Math MCAS Assessment on Tuesday, May 17th and Wednesday, May 18th. There will be a reverse 1/2 day for grades 9, 11 and 12. The last day of classes for seniors will be May 20th.
Sincerely,
Tim Tichacek
Principal
