Hello from Delsea High School!
Dear Delsea Community, I want to thank you for all the cooperation you have given us in making our remote opening a success. We are excited for the return of students to the building and I am sure you have many questions. I hope this letter answers many of your questions, but please contact us if you have further concerns.
Hybrid Return to School
Cohort A - weekly schedule:
MONDAY and THURSDAY Your student will report to school for live, in-person learning with their teachers.
TUESDAY and FRIDAY Your student will stay home and participate in live, synchronous, online learning activities with their teachers.
WEDNESDAY All students will stay home and participate in live, online, synchronous learning activities with the teachers.Cohort B - weekly schedule:

Before You Arrive
Schedules are enclosed and available via Oncourse
Parents, please be sure to fill out the health screening for your student on oncourse.
Masks are mandatory and need to be worn consistently throughout the day.
Arrival
Students are permitted into the building at 7:10 a.m.
Students will get their temperature checked on the way into the building.
Students being dropped off are to enter through the east wing at the rear of the building.
Students that are getting off a bus will enter through the main and gym entrances.
Students will go directly to their first period.
Building information
Signage throughout the building to direct students to stay to the right and social distance while walking through the building.
One stairwell in each wing will be up and one will be down. The gym stairwell will be both up and down due to the railing that divides the stairwell.
Students will have assigned seats, desks will be sprayed before the next class enters, and students will be given a disinfectant wipe when they enter to use on their desk.
Breakfast/Lunch
There is a new order form for ALL GROUPS (A, B, O) on the Delsea Regional Website under the food service tab.
The current remote order form will be discontinued once the SUNDAY at 8 pm deadline is reached for orders for the week of September 28-October 3. Starting on Tuesday, September 29th, you can use the NEW Hybrid order form to place orders for the week of October 5-9. The deadline to order meals is 12 pm Friday for this new order form.
If you are a HYBRID LEARNER (Group A or B), you will now be receiving TAKE HOME MEALS instead of daily meal delivery.
COHORT A: On Mondays, you will get 3 lunches & 3 breakfast meals. On Thursdays, you will get 2 lunches & 2 breakfast meals.
COHORT B: On Tuesdays, you will get 3 lunches & 3 breakfast meals. On Fridays, you will get 2 lunches & 2 breakfast meals.
**This includes lunch for that day, breakfast and lunch for your following remote days, and breakfast to enjoy PRIOR to coming to school for your next in-building day.
If you are a 100% REMOTE LEARNER (Group O), you will now receive a BULK DELIVERY consisting of 5 breakfast meals & 5 lunch meals on Wednesdays between 11:30 am & 1 pm.
PLEASE NOTE:
Meals are FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS age 18 & under through December 31, 2020. Nutri-Serve meals are CONVENIENT for families as we offer a HEALTHY VARIETY of menu items requiring minimal preparation. These are challenging times for all of us and we hope access to FREE MEALS through the National School Breakfast & Lunch Programs will make feeding your family easier.
