AR Goals
We have had half of our class make it to their AR goals so far. We a little over a week to go. If your child is reading a different book at home than at school, he/she can still take an AR test over that book during AR time when he/she finishes it.
Game Project Presentations
The game project presentations start next week. If you are interested in seeing your child present his/her game and review their assigned skills with the class, you are more than welcome to come in. Just give me a heads up a day or two before that you would like to come and I will try to set a time that works.
Christmas Party
Thank you so much for signing up to send in treats and drinks for the Christmas party. You can send those items in any time before the 21st. Also, instead of a gift exchange, remember to send in a couple of fun prizes for the games we will be playing that afternoon. :)
Science Buddy STEM challenge
We have been meeting with our science buddies to work on some STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) challenges. We are currently in teams designing self-propelled boats that we will race in the high school pool. We will be walking over to the middle school on the 13th and the high school on the 20th, so please be sure your child is dressed for the cold weather. (Boots, hats, gloves, scarves, etc...)
