Zoom Update

Has your child done the Zoom Update?

The security of our online classrooms is of utmost importance. In an effort to streamline the Zoom log-in process and increase security, we asked that all students create a Zoom Account using their GCPS Google email address (first.name last 4 numbers of student id@g.gcpsk12.org) (example - Bobby.Flay2212@g.gcpsk12.org).

Click here for step by step instructions. Please have your student complete this process.

On Monday, August 31, students without the correct Zoom account who attempted to access the live Zoom sessions were denied entry. Please make sure your child creates a Zoom Account. Thanks in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

From the Parent Center

Parents,

There are three important things you need to do today. First, if your child is eligible for free and reduced lunch, complete the free and reduced lunch application. After September 30, your child will have to pay for lunch. The link to the free and reduced application is below.

Second, apply for My Payments Plus. Parents, we are moving to paperless business transactions now. Any money you need to pay for your child and any documents you need to acknowledge are on My Payments Plus. Please click on the link below. Also, please be sure to sign-off on the documents in the third picture once you get access to My Payments Plus.

Finally parents, complete the attached Technology survey. For parents with minimal technology knowledge, we are starting a Parent Technology Institute to provide assistance for those parents who need help. Please complete the attached survey if you would like to be a part of our Technology Institute. Survey link

Thanks,
