First Grade News for the Month of March!
You're Invited!
What: 1st Grade Author's Gallery of Published Writing
When: March 20th from 4:30pm-6:30pm
We are transforming the Chimborazo's Breezeway into a gallery of our students' published writing. At this event, you'll be able to admire the students' writing as they show off narrative pieces that they've carefully chosen to publish. Bring your smart device (a phone or tablet) to hear the Authors read their writing!

What We'll Learn in March...
Math- We are working on solving and creating story problems with sums and differences to 20. After that, we'll transition to equality (ie: 5+4=3+6). This marking period, the students will be taking a cumulative assessment of all skills learned in 1st grade.
Social Studies-Goods and services and an introduction to fiscal responsibility will be our skills of focus this month!
Science-We'll continue scientific investigations and learning about natural resources, how they are used, and how we can care for them!
