CPS Scholarships for Seniors!
The Cabot Scholarship Foundation will award over 100 scholarships to Cabot High School seniors for the 2023- 2024 school year. Scholarship funds are donated by individuals and businesses and each donor sets specific criteria for their scholarship. Scholarships are available for seniors planning to attend two and four year colleges, technical schools, vocational schools and certification schools. (This includes specialty schools such as Cosmetology, HVAC and Welding.) Some scholarships are based on financial need, while others are not. Some of the scholarships are available even if you are planning to attend school out of state! Therefore, ALL seniors should apply! One application will allow students to be considered for all of the local scholarships. The application will be available December 1, 2023 via seniors’ school email and in the CHS Student Success Center. Students should read and follow the directions for submission of the application carefully. The deadline is January 17, 2024, 3:30 pm.

No Loitering - After School Hours or Weekends
The no loitering policy has been in effect since April 2023. The district is noticing more trash and congregating in our parking lots after school hours. Please be mindful of all Cabot city curfews, rules, and regulations as well.
Per the city of Cabot (Code 1992, § 130.33; Ord. No. 2-1994, 2-14-1994; Ord. Parking Passes
Zero Hour
CHS Zero Hour, 7:50-8:25 AM, M-F, was added to the CHS daily schedule a few years ago. Its purpose is to help your student be successful! This time should be utilized by students to ask questions, finish homework and/or makeup work quizzes and tests they may have missed due to absences or other school activities. If your student is failing a class, then he/she should be attending Zero Hour for that particular class in an effort to raise the grade.

CHS Check Out Policy
CHS students will be allowed to check out with a parent/guardian note only. A parent/guardian phone number will need to be included on the checkout note for verification purposes.
***No phone call checkouts will be allowed because of safety concerns.
CHS is a closed campus and we strongly discourage students from checking out at lunch. This typically causes unnecessary tardies and classroom interruptions. If a student is checking out at lunch, a parent/guardian must physically come in and sign the student out and them back in from lunch.
Only a parent/guardian is allowed to drop lunch off for a student. If a parent/guardian is dropping off lunch for a student, there will be a table (outside the office) with a sharpie for the students name to be written on it. Students should know in advance that lunch is being dropped off to them.
