PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Dear Parents,
As we approach the middle of the school year, I am delighted to walk into classrooms and see our students securing important skills and concepts to ensure their success. Likewise, this evening you will have the opportunity to attend the Roosevelt Open House on Thursday, January 25 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
Each grade level team is also developing a “theme” for the evening. Please mark your calendar and visit your child’s classroom to see their learning environment first hand.
Please join us for an exciting Roosevelt Open House.
Additionally, I attached a flyer in this newsletter regarding the Park Ridge Kiwanis Club. This organization raises funds to help support School District 64 needy families. For example, this past holiday season, the Kiwanis Club provided food baskets for over thirty families in the school district thanks to just over $7,000 that was raised through community events, such as the one in the flyer attached to our newsletter.
Have a wonderful day!
Dr. Dwyer, Principal

Put Your Child’s Name on Everything!
As winter approaches, students are bringing more clothing items to school each day. Write your child’s name and teacher’s name on hats, gloves, coats, lunch bags, boots, backpacks, and all other items. This will avoid your belongings being placed in our lost and found.

· Respect school neighbors – please do not park in or block their driveways.
· Parents and children should not use the Staff parking lot
