Calling All Juniors Seeking Paid Internships!

Are you a junior looking for career experience in a paid internship? The application site for Intern Omaha is now open through January 17, 2020. Apply at http://internomaha.org Intern Omaha began last year as the Youth Business Community Internship Program, giving students the opportunity to gain career experience in paid internship positions. Salaries for these internships range from $9 to $16 an hour! Interested in what this program offers, go to the website listed above for more details.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is an intensive leadership training program for male and female high school sophomores and juniors. If selected, talented young people from across this region will attend a three day seminar organized by Rotarians held on April 17, 18, and 19. RYLA will help you develop leadership skills, increase self-confidence, gain exposure to a variety of issues and people, improve career skills and knowledge, and meet community leaders.

Senior Board Meeting ~ January 14th

The next Senior Board meeting is Tuesday January 14 at 7:20 a.m. We will begin planning superlatives and the senior class banquet. We will meet in room 2135. See Ms. Carroll with questions.

S.A.D.D ~ January 14th

The next Students Against Drunk Driving meeting is Tuesday, January 14th at 3:30 pm in room 1643. New members are welcome and bring a friend! Can't wait to see you there!

German Club ~ January 14th and 15th

German Club members, we need YOU! Frau Brennan needs some German Club members to do some easy prep work for the 8th grade activities fair. Meet after school in Room 2114 on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 14th & 15th. Danke schoen!

SHH Club ~ January 15th

Attention SHH members! We have our mandatory January meeting this Wednesday, January 15th at 3:30pm in Lecture Hall C.

Interact Club ~ January 15th

Interact Club will be meeting on Wednesday in Mrs. Betzold's room, 2160, from 3:30-4:30. Everyone is welcome!

Writers' Club ~ January 15th

Writers' Club will meet Wednesday January 15 after school from 3:20 until 4:45 pm in room 2135. Come check us out! See Ms. Carroll with questions!

History Club ~ January 15th

History club will meet on Wednesday, January 15 from 3:25-5:25 in room 1641 for a movie night. Join us in watching The Princess & the Frog, set in New Orleans. Come learn more about our upcoming trip to the Big Easy and enjoy some pizza. Everyone is welcome.

Environmental Club ~ January 16th

The Environmental Club wants to hear from you Mustangs! The Millard North Environmental Club has been awarded a grant to help improve our school in more eco-friendly ways. Come help research the school's options for a recycling program, and discuss ideas on how to use the money this Thursday, January 16th after school in room 2141.

After Prom Party Volunteers Needed!



We would like to extend an invitation to all Millard North Parents (all grades) to join us for our After Prom party for the Juniors and Seniors. We are celebrating our 35th year with “Blast from the Past.”

We are looking for leads in Food/ Kitchen Committee and Door Watchers. We have a need for volunteers in all areas, also for Bingo callers, so gather some friends and have fun!!! We would love to see you that night while we watch our kids have fun.

We will be having a volunteer meeting in the upcoming months. Stay tuned.
