RVUSD Parent Update June 22, 2020
Opening Schools in the Fall: The Latest
Dear RVUSD Incoming TK-6th Grade Families,
We are using this opportunity to let you know of RVUSD’s learning plan for the Fall of 2020. We thank our parents and staff community members for their continued engagement with us as we work through the most current information and guidelines in order to best serve our stakeholders (students, staff and parents). Safety and health will continue to be at the forefront of our decisions and actions.
The district is providing this information at this point in time for two main reasons:
To allow families to know what to expect and begin planning for the start the school year in August
For district planning purposes, identify families who would like an at home learning experience for their children for this school year (see options 2 and 3)

Survey comes out tomorrow- your input required!
We will continue to push out information as it becomes available. Our district teams will be busy preparing our classrooms and staff for these changes. In the meantime, tomorrow we will be sending out a survey asking for your guidance on program selection. In order to create the best plans possible we need to identify families’ anticipated choices for their students. Please complete this survey by this Friday, June 26th. We understand that parents might be wanting to wait to hear from their employers, etc.. However, please indicate your best choice right now for your RVUSD student and we can make adjustments in the future as more information becomes available to you.
