Toonlet is a great resource that allows users to create their own cartoon strip or comic. This could be a great tool for teachers in introducing a new unit, or as an alternative writing assignment.


Sharendipity allows anyone to create their own video games. Could be a great tool for story-mapping or engagement with a novel read in class!

Go Animate!

Go Animate is a tool that allows users to create and share animations in minutes. Could be a great storytelling tool!

Tip of My Tongue

Tip of My Tongue: Find that word that you've been thinking about all day. Search under part word, letters or meanings. Great resource for students who are stuck in the writing process!

Typing Web

Typing Web is a free online typing tutor & keyboarding tutorial for typists of all skill levels. Also offers officially sanctioned typing and 10 Key certification. Could be great additional for students who missed typing instruction.


Solvr is a problem solving tool to help students map out solutions to complex problems. Definitely using this in my classroom.

Paper Rater

Paper Rater is a great online proofreader, grammar checker, and plagiarism detector. Awesome tool in grading for originality in research papers and other assignments.

Writing Prompts contains many writing prompts teachers can use as warm-ups in their classes in order to engage their students in higher order thinking!


Storybird makes digital publishing and storytelling easy! Contains class accounts that allows teachers to set up and manage class assignments easily!
