Riverbend Roundup

November News

November looks to be a busy and exciting time here at Riverbend! We are 2 short weeks away from the end of our first trimester. Please encourage your student to finish strong as we push towards that finish line. As always, all of our teachers and administrators are available to support you if you have any questions. Please feel free to reach out if we can help.

As mentioned in our last newsletter, we are looking at some small schedule changes that will go into effect at the start of the new trimester. Our Tribe time will be moving to 3rd period. This move will allow us to have full 30 minute periods of Social-Emotional Learning time and academic intervention time. We will also be adding a 3rd lunch shift to reduce the crowding issues in our cafeteria. These changes will not affect instructional time in our other class periods. Students will still have 70 minute class periods. Please see the picture below for a breakdown of the new schedule.

* Specific details about lunch shifts will be shared with students once schedules have been finalized by our counselor.

  • Students should remain seated at all times until they have been given permission to leave their table by a supervisor.
  • Students should pick up all trash on and around their tables.
  • Phone use is not permitted in the cafeteria. Any phones collected by supervisors in the cafeteria will be kept in the main office until the end of the school day.
